Introduction to do-it-yourself pottery packs

Making Memories Paint Pottery is now offering DIY painting pottery party packs, giving you the opportunity to host your own painting pottery parties with your own twist! May be an Easter themed party; the Easter Bunny could deliver ceramic eggs to be painted and guests enjoy an Easter Egg Hunt to finish with! The possibilities are endless, with many pieces of ceramic to choose from. Perhaps we have ceramic to reflect yours or your child’s hobby!

Making Memories DIY pottery party packs include everything you need to host successful pottery parties from the ceramic right through to aprons, glazes (paints), table coverings, instructions and party guide. Our party guide is easy to follow and painting pottery doesn’t need to be messy as all colour glazes are washable and lead free.

After you’ve hosted your party, your pottery is collected from you and returned to Making Memories for over-glazing and kiln-firing. This takes approximately 14-21 days, after which, Making Memories will return your finished pottery. Once ceramic has been glazed and fired, it is food safe.

If you can’t wait for your pottery to be glazed, Making Memories offers a ‘Paint & Take’ pottery party package which includes choices of pottery ornaments, paints and PVA glue to give it that “glazed” professional look. ‘Paint & Take’ is not suitable for food or drink ceramic.
